About The Opportunity
Smartly Technologies is adding a Analytics Specialist to its team supporting managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud services, software and web delivery, technical support, systems, data, projects, and customer service. The Analytics Specialist will analyze business data and turn it into accurate reports, trends, and practical insights. The opening is full time, fully remote, and open to candidates throughout the United States.
What You'll Work On
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze data from approved spreadsheets, databases, reports, and business systems in the Analytics Specialist role at Smartly Technologies.
- Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and tracking files for key performance measures as part of the Analytics Specialist role at Smartly Technologies.
- Investigate unusual values, missing records, and data inconsistencies and document the resolution across managed IT and technical delivery in this Analytics Specialist position.
- Translate analysis into clear summaries that explain trends, changes, exceptions, and business impact for the Smartly Technologies team as part of Analytics Specialist work.
- Maintain calculation logic, filters, metric definitions, and source notes so reporting remains reproducible while supporting managed IT and technical delivery in the Analytics Specialist role at Smartly Technologies.
- Support ad hoc analysis requests while protecting confidential business and customer information as part of day-to-day Analytics Specialist responsibilities at Smartly Technologies.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant analytical training or practical experience; analyst-level experience is preferred for associate roles for the Analytics Specialist opening at Smartly Technologies.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and familiarity with SQL, BI, reporting, or visualization tools.
- Comfort working with large datasets and checking calculations, filters, joins, and source quality.
- Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- A pre-employment background check is required.
