Claims Reporting & Operational Analytics

Overview

• We are seeking an Analytics Consultant to support claims reporting, operational analytics, and payment integrity initiatives within a healthcare payer environment. This role will focus on building reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that provide business users with actionable insights across claims operations and compliance reporting.
• The ideal candidate will be a hands-on analyst with strong Power BI and SQL experience, capable of translating business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting assets.
• Perform analyses across healthcare claims, provider, member, and encounter datasets.
• Build SQL queries and reporting logic to support operational decision making.
• Support payment integrity and claims reporting initiatives.
• Create ad hoc analyses, KPIs, and recurring operational reports.
• Work with business users to understand reporting requirements.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting activities.
• Support data validation, quality assurance, and reporting governance activities.
• Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to improve reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of healthcare analytics, BI, or reporting experience.
• Experience working with U.S. healthcare claims data.
• Strong Power BI dashboard development skills.
• Solid SQL experience.
• Experience building operational reports and analytics solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting outputs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Databricks.
• Experience supporting payer, managed care, or health plan organizations.
• Exposure to payment integrity, claims operations, or recovery analytics.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled reporting tools, natural language querying, or self-service analytics platforms.
