About The Company:
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly active and well-positioned multifamily investment firm. With well over $1 billion in assets under management, the platform combines institutional-scale investment capabilities with the agility and exposure of an entrepreneurial firm.
The Role:
The Analyst will work closely with senior members of the investment team across both Acquisitions and Asset Management. This is a hands-on opportunity to build experience across the full investment lifecycle, including underwriting, due diligence, financing, portfolio management, and dispositions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the underwriting and due diligence of prospective multifamily acquisitions.
- Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow projections, DCF analyses, and investment return scenarios.
- Assist with the acquisition, financing, asset management, and disposition processes.
- Monitor property-level financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Analyze property, market, and industry data to evaluate investment opportunities and identify trends across target markets.
- Work with property management and internal teams to track performance and support execution of property-level business plans.
- Prepare investment committee materials, acquisition presentations, portfolio reporting, and investor-facing materials.
- Support ad hoc analysis and strategic projects across the firm's investment portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, lending, valuation, or another analytical finance role. Multifamily experience is strongly preferred.
- Modeling Skills: Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with DCF analysis and real estate underwriting preferred.
- Analytical Ability: Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze investments, markets, and property-level performance.
- Travel: Ability to travel less than 25% of the time to visit properties and markets.
- Cultural Fit: Team-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working within a close-knit, entrepreneurial environment.
- Mindset: Curious, hungry, and solutions-oriented, with a continuous-improvement mentality and the ability to take ownership without requiring step-by-step direction.
