2. About the Opportunity:
The Analyst, Privacy leads the Privacy Incident Management function, ensuring effective handling of incidents involving personal data. This role is critical in coordinating cross-functional responses, conducting privacy analyses, managing remediation efforts, and enhancing incident response processes to protect privacy and maintain compliance.
3. Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end Privacy Incident Management program including workflows, escalation paths, documentation, and automation.
- Serve as the incident commander for privacy incidents, coordinating analysis and remediation across multiple teams.
- Maintain on-call readiness to triage and assess privacy incidents promptly.
- Conduct incident retrospectives, track remediation, and report on trends and process health.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to improve incident response and accountability.
- Support additional Privacy initiatives such as tooling and automation projects during lower incident volumes.
4. Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in privacy, security, incident response, technology risk, or related operational risk roles.
- Experience leading incident management with clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability in technical investigations within cloud-native environments using SQL, Python, and data analysis tools.
- Experience developing automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of privacy regulations and frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, and others.
- Responsible use of generative AI with maintained human oversight to improve workflows.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Annual base salary range: $135,320—$159,200 USD, varying by location.
- Total compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k).
