Responsibilities:

Provide situational banker/credit support for managing new and existing client relationships and execution of transactions for Global Banking- Corporate Clients.

As a Banker Support Analyst, employee would demonstrate the following competencies:

New Deal Support:

  • Create groups, attach/detach legal entities, update the client coverage, and check for Relationship Manager’s presence in new accounts.
  • Analyze the data behind the newly opened accounts and remediate the deficiencies flagged by RDQP as they relate to feed breaks.

Ongoing Deal Maintenance:

  • Submit forms in internal platforms to preserve the integrity of the data in local systems.
  • Preserve the integrity of the data in global repository system, including change of legal name, amendment of management entities and client coverage, merger, and absorptions/duplicates.
  • Manage Economic Dependency to link a legal entity to a Business Group.
  • Assist with all inquiries related to credit lines, regulatory status retrieval, outstanding, fees and any issues that arise regarding data requests (referential, risk, transactional etc.).

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with other data collection and ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Responsible for fostering ideas proactively to improve the Loan Transaction Coordination teams, to efficiently achieve their missions and add value to the Corporate Platform.
  • Engage with relevant team leaders and stakeholders and contribute to the implementation of these ideas as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree with major in Finance/Business Analyst/Data science preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry with knowledge in Corporate Banking products/Corporate Credit process.
  • Coding & Analytical Abilities (Python, SQL, VBA) assets.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and flexibility in changing work environment.
  • Work collaboratively within the team.
  • Strong attention to details.
