- Role Description The Analyst, Investments & Portfolio Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH. This role supports the investment and asset management process for multifamily real estate, including financial modeling, underwriting, and analysis of potential transactions across the capital stack. The analyst will assist in preparing investment memos, presentations, and supporting materials for internal committees and external investors. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, updating asset-level and fund-level models, preparing reporting packages, and tracking key performance indicators and market trends. The role also involves collaborating with senior team members, participating in due diligence, reviewing legal and financial documentation, and maintaining accurate data and analytics to inform investment decisions.
- Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and quantitative problem-solving.
- Knowledge of investments and portfolio management, ideally with exposure to real estate or private markets.
- Solid foundation in finance, including understanding of capital markets, valuation, and risk-return concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field; advanced coursework or certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling tools, real estate analytics platforms, or portfolio management systems is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and take initiative in solving problems and improving processes.
