  • About the job
  • Our client is an established, multi-national retail and food & beverage (F&B) franchise conglomerate (500+ employees globally) behind several globally recognized consumer brands. As they execute an aggressive cross-border expansion strategy bridging North American and Asian markets, they are seeking an analytically minded, bilingual Franchise Development Analyst to join their corporate growth team.
  • In this entry-level position, you will be the foundational engine behind market mapping, prospective franchisee financial vetting, and territory analysis. This role serves as a critical strategic link, processing cross-border business insights and tracking the franchise pipeline from initial application to location launch.
  • Why Join Us
  • Comprehensive Visa Sponsorship: We value global perspectives and top-tier talent. This role fully supports F-1 OPT/STEM OPT extensions and features a structured, performance-based roadmap for H-1B visa sponsorship.
  • High-Growth Corporate Exposure: Gain deep, practical exposure to multi-unit corporate scaling, commercial real estate dynamics, and global brand licensing models.
  • Bilingual Career Development: Actively leverage and refine your cross-cultural communication skills in a professional corporate environment that bridges major international economies.

Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence & Territory Mapping
  • Demographic Modeling: Conduct data-driven research on regional demographics, consumer spending habits, and competitor density to identify and map high-potential territories for new franchise locations.
  • Market Trend Tracking: Monitor changing retail and consumer trends in both the US and South Korean markets, compiling data to support strategic regional expansion boards.
  • Feasibility Studies: Support senior development managers by building baseline market feasibility briefs and location-specific traffic density reports.
  • Franchisee Financial Vetting & Data Auditing
  • Financial Profile Evaluation: Review prospective franchise candidates' financial submissions, including balance sheets, tax returns, verification of liquid assets, and net worth calculations, to ensure alignment with corporate compliance.
  • Credit & Background Check Management: Coordinate the collection and processing of third-party background and credit checks, ensuring absolute data privacy and accuracy.
  • Pro-Forma Analysis: Help build and evaluate basic location-level pro-forma statements and return-on-investment (ROI) models for prospective store layouts.
  • Pipeline Pipeline Management & HQ Synchronization
  • CRM Stewardship: Fully own the data integrity of the franchise development CRM (e.g., Salesforce), keeping candidate profiles updated, tracking lead sources, and pulling weekly pipeline yield metrics.
  • Bilingual Document Control: Translate, refine, and cross-reference franchise disclosure documents (FDD), marketing packages, and legal agreements between English and Korean.
  • Cross-Border Liaison: Assist in scheduling, managing, and documenting global sync meetings between North American regional managers and overseas corporate headquarters.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • Language Mastery: Absolute professional fluency in both English and Korean (written and verbal) is an essential framework requirement. You must be comfortable translating complex business insights, writing formal corporate updates, and leading cross-border corporate communication loops.
  • Experience: Entry-level (0 to 2 years of corporate experience). Prior internship or project exposure within corporate finance, financial analysis, commercial real estate, or retail business development is a significant plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Trade, or an equivalent quantitative discipline.
  • Technical Software Skills: Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, financial formulas) and high comfort building visual data summaries in MS PowerPoint.
  • Core Competencies: Strong logical reasoning, strict attention to numbers, and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
  • Job Location & Details
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Visa Eligibility: Open to F-1 OPT / STEM OPT candidates; performance-based H-1B visa sponsorship track available
  • Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 / year
