Analyst-Financial Senior

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Pricing and Reimbursement team in the role of Senior Financial Analyst.

Role Responsibilities

Coordinates and supports the financial team in providing actionable information (including analysis, reporting, Pro Formas) to support operational and strategic decision making. Provides analytical and consultative support to departmental and service line management and key stakeholders. Analyzes diverse sets of data including financial, operational, clinical and economic, to support strategic and operational decisions. Interprets financial or other information on costs, prices, expenses, revenues and various clinical and operational measures to make recommendations to senior management. Develops analysis of economic indicators to prepare forecasts and analyze the organization's short, medium, and long-term position. Provides technical support on complex analysis and may informally lead team members.

Reports to : Manager of Managed Care Business Analysis, System Services

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance , Computer Science, healthcare management or related field required.
  • Requires 3+ years of relevant financial or operational analysis experience; at least 2 year of experience in healthcare industry preferred.
  • Requires a demonstrated knowledge and expertise in data management applications, specifically Excel, SQL, Power Bi and other reporting tools.
  • Requires analytical experience working with complex data sets.
  • Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications.
