CIG is an independent diligence and data platform for institutional allocators. We provide data, benchmarking, diligence frameworks, and strategy-level analytics that help investors evaluate and allocate with confidence. We cover hundreds of active strategies, work with some of the largest institutions globally, and are backed by prominent institutional investors. Our mission is to bring institutional-grade transparency, diligence, and discovery tools to allocators and advance the next chapter of alternative investments.
As more allocators rely on CIG as their independent diligence partner, our coverage and diligence workload is growing, and so is the technology we use to deliver it. We’re hiring a Diligence Analyst to work across both: supporting live diligence work and helping build the internal tools and workflows that improve how we deliver it.
What you'll do
Diligence Support. Support live diligence reviews as a generalist with the Head of Operational Due Diligence and Head of Manager Research. Sit in on manager meetings, work through documentation, and contribute to the analysis, learning the craft on the ground from the team that does it every day.
Internal Projects. Work directly with the CEO and engineering team on priority internal projects that improve how CIG delivers its work.
Technical Translation. Translate diligence requirements into clear specifications that engineers can build against. Test what gets built against how the work is actually done, and iterate until it holds up.
AI Workflows. Build and maintain internal workflows and tools using AI.
Coverage Data Quality. Help keep CIG’s coverage data accurate, complete, and current, and support data quality reviews across the platform.
Research and Publications. Contribute research and analysis to CIG’s public publications, including surveys, outlooks, and reports, with the opportunity to be credited as a contributor or co-author.
Who you are
Early Career. Roughly zero to three years of experience. Interest in digital assets and institutional diligence matters more than prior experience in either.
Technical in Practice. You have built workflows, tools, or projects using AI, not only used it. Comfortable with data and structured information, and able to read the logic behind what gets built well enough to catch when it is wrong.
Systems Thinker. Able to take an unstructured process, break it into clear, repeatable steps, and explain it to an engineer.
Clear Communicator. Able to turn complex material into concise analysis. Comfortable engaging senior investment professionals and fund principals with professionalism and credibility.
Our Culture: CIG recruits high agency self starters. You’ll take on real ownership early, with a direct line to the CEO and the tools and support you need to win. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, deadline driven, and energized by a high velocity environment. If you hit a roadblock, you adapt and find creative angles until the path opens. We stay intentionally lean and work only with teammates whose ambitions align with ours.
Next Steps: Email your resume, LinkedIn profile, and a brief note (max 300 words) on 1) why you’re interested in the role and 2) something you have built, to [email protected]
- Compensation: Competitive salary, equity, and benefits
- Location: Remote, full time
