Crew data analysis associates bring data insights to life with predictive and descriptive analytics, create meaningful business intelligence and data visualization dashboards, and learn data profiling and cloud data practices.

Responsibilities

  • Business and Data Analysis
  • Partner with client stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical documentation
  • Assist with documenting data requirements, business rules, and functional specifications
  • Create and maintain source-to-target mapping documents and other project artifacts
  • Support backlog refinement by breaking business requirements into actionable work items
  • Participate in requirements workshops and design discussions
  • Testing and Data Validation
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate data quality and business requirements
  • Perform data validation using SQL queries and other analytical techniques
  • Investigate data issues, document findings, and collaborate with engineers to resolve defects
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production validation activities
  • Verify that delivered data assets meet business and governance requirements
  • Project Delivery and Collaboration
  • Work closely with data engineers, architects, and project leadership throughout the development lifecycle
  • Track work, communicate project status, and identify potential risks or blockers
  • Support documentation for governance, deployment, and operational readiness
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and project documentation
  • Demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and ownership while working with client teams
  • Qualifications
  • 0 to 3 years of professional experience or relevant internship experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize information and document technical concepts clearly
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL or relational databases is preferred
  • Interest in data, technology consulting, or business analysis
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and working in fast-paced project environments
  • Demonstrated curiosity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or similar analytics tools
  • Exposure to Agile project delivery
  • Experience creating test cases or validating data
  • Coursework or projects involving databases, analytics, or data visualization

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
