We are a leading independent capital markets advisory firm helping public companies broaden and deepen their institutional shareholder base. Through our platform, global institutional investors gain direct access to senior management teams across 100+ small- to mega-cap companies globally. We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its Business Development team. This is an entry-level role best suited for candidates with 1 to 2 years of internship or professional experience in sales, business development, client service, financial services, investor relations, or a related field.
The Analyst will play a critical role in supporting senior team members by managing outreach initiatives, coordinating prospect engagement, maintaining CRM data integrity, and helping drive the firm's business development efforts. The position offers exposure to public company executives, investor relations professionals, and capital markets strategy, along with close collaboration with our senior management team. It is well suited to someone who wants a career in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with a senior executive to build and advance a pipeline across an assigned market or geography.
- Support the execution of business development initiatives and outreach campaigns across prospective corporate clients.
- Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calls and email outreach, to introduce Rose & Co.’s services and generate interest with prospective corporate clients.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, meetings, and pipeline activity within CRM systems.
- Prepare and track outreach throughout simultaneous campaigns to ensure timely execution and accurate records.
- Prepare tailored meeting prep materials and briefings for team members ahead of pitches, calls, and conferences.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate communications with corporate executives and professionals.
- Support other administrative duties, special projects, and team needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; coursework or interest in finance, economics, or business a plus
- Prior internship or professional experience in sales, business development, client service, investor relations, financial services, or a related field preferred.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and delivering elevator pitches by phone.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects at once.
- Professional and confident communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Willingness to work onsite in New York City.
