- Role Description The Analyst role at Midgard Consulting Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Vancouver, BC. The Analyst will support project teams by collecting, validating, and analyzing data related to energy, electricity, and power infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quantitative and qualitative analyses, developing reports and presentations, and contributing to financial, technical, and environmental assessments. The role involves supporting stakeholder engagement activities through research, documentation, and meeting preparation, as well as assisting in the development of project plans, schedules, and risk assessments. The Analyst will collaborate closely with consultants and engineers to ensure deliverables are accurate, clearly communicated, and aligned with client objectives.
- Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, modeling, and problem-solving.
- Ability to prepare clear written reports, presentations, and documentation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with energy, electricity, or infrastructure sectors, or demonstrated interest in related industries.
- Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization or statistical software).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, environmental studies, or a related field; advanced education is an asset.
- Experience in consulting, project coordination, or research-based roles is an advantage.
