AI Software Engineer – Healthcare Data & Platforms
We're a growing nursing home organization building our core AI and data infrastructure from the ground up — and we're looking for a hands-on engineer who wants to own that build.
This is not a maintenance role. You'll work directly with operations and finance leadership to design and build a centralized AI platform that unifies data across the organization — EHR systems, financial data, operational workflows — into one intelligent environment.
What You'll Build
A centralized data platform integrating multiple source systems (including PointClickCare and Epic)
AI-driven workflows that automate manual operational and financial processes
Scalable, cloud-based pipelines and internal tools that give leadership real-time visibility
What We're Looking For
3–6 years of software engineering experience with a focus on data systems or platform development
Strong Python; comfortable across SQL and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar)
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and API integrations
Someone who's built things end-to-end, not just contributed to pieces of larger systems
Bonus Points
Experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, or agent orchestration
Healthcare data or EHR integration background (HL7/FHIR a plus, not required)
