We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Data Engineer with strong expertise in Wealth Management and Financial Services to design and build modern cloud-based data platforms, scalable data pipelines, ML solutions, and GenAI applications.

  • Required Skills
  • 8+ years of Data Engineering experience, preferably within Wealth Management or Financial Services
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark
  • Advanced Python development for data pipelines, ML/AI solutions and API integrations
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, performance tuning and data warehousing
  • Hands-on experience with AWS – S3, Lambda, SNS, IAM
  • Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Snowpipe, REST APIs and real-time data ingestion
  • ETL/ELT experience with dbt, DataStage and cloud-native technologies
  • Machine Learning experience including forecasting, customer analytics, attrition prediction or financial analytics
  • GenAI, RAG, Vector Databases, LangChain and LLM integration
  • Experience with Airflow, Autosys, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker and MLOps
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, security, compliance and financial reporting
  • Nice to Have
  • Wealth Management platforms, investment products, portfolio analytics or market data
  • Elasticsearch, FAISS, Snowpark, Redshift, Aurora or DB2
  • SAS/DataStage modernization to Spark or cloud-native platforms
  • Power BI, QuickSight or Tableau
  • Enterprise AI/GenAI governance experience
  • AWS or other cloud certifications

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms supporting Wealth Management
  • Build and optimize high-volume financial data ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Develop AI/ML and GenAI solutions for client insights and decision support
  • Implement data quality, observability, monitoring and governance
  • Support cloud modernization and migration initiatives
  • Collaborate with business, technology and data leadership teams
  • Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers
