- Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Process Analytics Contractor to join our client's team for a 12-month assignment. This role is critical in driving data integration, visualization, and insight generation across small molecule and cell & gene therapy manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pharma/biotech data analytics, with the ability to combine complex data sources, build impactful visualizations, and enable data-driven decisions that advance manufacturing excellence.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring both technical depth and strong communication skills. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in MS&T and IT to deliver scalable analytics solutions that improve process understanding and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration & Engineering:
- Aggregate and harmonize data from multiple sources including PI data historians, Snowflake, flat files, Statistica Enterprise, and other structured/unstructured data systems.
- Build scalable, reliable pipelines to ensure data quality, accessibility, and consistency.
- Visualization & Analytics:
- Develop intuitive dashboards and interactive applications (Python Dash, JMP, MATLAB, TIBCO Spitfire/Statistica) to visualize manufacturing process data.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting both small molecule and advanced therapies.
- Deploy analytics solutions on cloud environments (AWS) to ensure accessibility and scalability.
- Insight Generation & Decision Support:
- Apply statistical and data science methods to identify process trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with MS&T subject matter experts to contextualize insights and recommend process improvements.
- Project & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal oversight.
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of analytics solutions with business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pharma/biotech data analytics, preferably within MS&T, manufacturing, or process development.
- Proven expertise in:
- Programming & Visualization: Python (Dash), JMP, MATLAB
- Data Platforms: Snowflake, PI Data Historian, TIBCO Statistica/Spitfire
- Cloud Deployment: AWS-based web app development and deployment
- Strong understanding of pharma/biotech manufacturing data and GMP-related systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced therapies (cell & gene) as well as small molecule manufacturing analytics.
- Familiarity with data engineering best practices, ETL pipelines, and API integrations.
- Experience applying multivariate statistics, machine learning, Generative AI or advanced modeling in a manufacturing context.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of stakeholder collaboration across technical and business teams.
