Accounts Receivable Analyst

StaffBright is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a growing automotive manufacturing organization in the Southfield area. This role will support daily accounts receivable operations, cash application, account reconciliations, reporting, and customer account management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with large volumes of financial data, and bring a strong attention to detail along with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

  • What You'll Do
  • Process customer payments and ensure timely cash application activities
  • Research, resolve, and communicate customer payment and billing discrepancies
  • Reconcile high-volume accounts and transactions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and support collection efforts as needed
  • Prepare AR reports, financial analysis, and related metrics for management review
  • Work with customer portals and ERP systems to support daily receivable activities
  • Assist with audit requests and support external auditors during financial audits
  • Participate in ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects to support the finance team
  • What We're Looking For
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Strong cash application and cash receipts experience in a high-volume environment
  • Experience performing account reconciliations and resolving payment discrepancies
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
  • JD Edwards (JDE) experience
  • Experience working within customer payment portals
  • Experience supporting shared services or corporate finance environments
  • Exposure to high-volume transaction processing and large data sets
