As an Accounting & Tax Analyst, you will support the Accounting & Tax function by helping maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and contributing to key accounting processes. Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Tax, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external tax advisors, and finance teams to support timely filings, effective reporting, month-end close activities, fixed asset accounting, and regulatory compliance.   • What you'll do
  • Support tax compliance activities by monitoring, reviewing, and assisting with the resolution of tax and regulatory notices from federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Gather, validate, and organize documentation required for tax return preparation and filing processes, including PBC (Provided by Client) requests.
  • Maintain tax and compliance tracking tools to ensure filings, registrations, licenses, and reporting obligations are completed on time.
  • Identify and escalate potential compliance risks or issues to the Director of Accounting & Tax.
  • Prepare monthly sales and purchase transaction reports for external consultants to support sales and use tax filings.
  • Coordinate with external advisors and internal teams to support regulatory reporting requirements, including Drug Transparency Price Reporting.
  • Assist business and commercial teams with regulatory reporting requirements related to product pricing changes.
  • Support tax-related projects, including tax credits, incentives, emerging regulations, and compliance initiatives.
  • Collect and provide information needed for assessments of tax incentives, credits, and compliance opportunities.
  • Prepare and file business personal property tax returns and annual property tax declarations.
  • Review accounts receivable balances and assist with clearing general ledger items.
  • Compile monthly sales reports and provide reporting support to FP&A and Logistics teams.
  • Manage invoicing activities for third-party and internal customers and reconcile invoiced sales to logistics shipment records.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes through the preparation and posting of journal entries.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policies and internal control requirements.
  • Execute monthly depreciation runs and support fixed asset accounting activities.
  • Create and maintain fixed asset master data within SAP.
  • Prepare prepaid expense schedules and process monthly amortization journal entries.
  • Support accounting analysis, reporting requests, and ad hoc financial inquiries.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports using SAP and SAP Fiori, including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis and investigate significant changes in daily and monthly financial results.
  • Assist with intercompany accounting activities, including cost recharges and intercompany billing transactions.
  • Process inventory and material ledger-related month-end entries and support inventory valuation reporting.
  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit requests.
  • Qualifications and need-to-know
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit, finance, or a related area.
  • Internship or co-op experience in accounting, tax, or finance is preferred.
  • Progress toward a professional accounting designation such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP and SAP Fiori reporting tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of sales and use tax, property tax, and regulatory compliance requirements is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle a high volume of work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed during month-end and year-end close periods.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
