Accounting Analyst

• Job Title: Accounting Analyst
• Location: Matawan, NJ – Onsite
• Duration: Full-time

Job Description:

Process weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc customer invoicing in a timely and accurate manner

Post customer payments to the general ledger received via check and/or ACH; reconcile any short payments or deductions.

Maintain and analyze weekly aging reports and reconcile to periodic general ledger close.

Research and resolve all inquiries related to vendor invoicing and payments.

Conduct daily collection calls on past-due invoices.

Maintain strong working relationships with customers and merchandisers.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience, including cash application, billing, and collections.
• Computer Skills – proficient in Excel (including formulas and pivots), knowledge of SAP a plus
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be a team player.
• Ability to multitask in a high-paced and high-volume environment
