  • Position Overview
  • TrueStone LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support its day-to-day accounting operations and investor reporting. This role combines core AP/AR and bookkeeping responsibilities with exposure to fund-level accounting, including capital calls, investor distributions, and interest payments. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience across both traditional accounting and private lending/investment fund operations.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, invoices, and credits
  • • Set up bills for payment and ensure they are processed on time
  • • Enter and maintain transactions in QuickBooks
  • • Reconcile monthly bank statements in QuickBooks
  • • Assist with processing and calculating interest payments
  • • Contribute to the month-end close process
  • • Track capital calls and distributions to investors
  • • Support investor communications and reporting
  • • Maintain various accounting trackers
  • • Assist the Controller with various ad hoc requests and treasury functions
  • • Scan and file financial documents as needed

Qualifications

  • • Strong proficiency in Excel is required
  • • 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • • Working knowledge of core accounting principles (debits/credits, account reconciliation, month-end close) required
  • • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
  • • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • • Comfortable with numbers and data analysis
  • • Proficient in the use of technology and various software tools
  • • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
