Accounting Analyst

Our client is a French bank. They seek an Accounting Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Process overhead expenses, vendor payments, wire transfers, and invoice approvals while verifying payment instructions
• Reconcile administrative ledger accounts and prepare account analyses to support financial reporting
• Record journal entries, maintain general ledger activity, and onboard vendors within accounting systems
• Assist with sales and use tax filings, commercial rent tax reporting, and annual overhead budgeting
• Coordinate annual fixed asset inventories and maintain accurate asset records
• Administer off-site records management, including storage, reconciliations, and document destruction processes
• Maintain administrative policies, procedures, customer account records, and signature verification documentation
• Oversee facility security systems, employee access controls, and related reporting activities
• Support business travel, telecommunications, office maintenance, technology coordination, purchasing, and event planning
• Collaborate with the Administration team to ensure efficient day-to-day operational and administrative support

• Required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Must have an accounting background/experience and knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access software
• Basic knowledge of Midas and Summit is a plus
